The Ridgefield Public School system is one of the finest in the state of Connecticut. "Our standard is excellence for children in partnership with parents and community" - Ridgefield Public Schools. The Ridgefield public school system is administered by a nine-member town Board of Education, elected by local residents and educational organizations.
