The district's student population of 5,600 is growing. Redding Elementary School, John Read Middle School, and Joel Barlow Regional High School (which is also the high school for neighboring Easton).
There are three schools which serve the 3400 Redding students: Redding Elementary School, John Read Middle School, and Joe Barlow Regional High School (which is also the high school for neighboring Easton).
Recognized as a School of Excellence by the U. S Department of Education, the high school offers a broad curriculum and students participate in a wide range of sports, art, and music programs. Over 95% of Redding's high school graduates go on to higher education.
There are four high-quality preschools in Redding as well as those in nearby towns.
